Research, our own measurement

Where organisations stand before they start on AI

Every completed foundation scan is one data point: six answers on definitions, ownership, traceability and decision-making. This page shows what those answers add up to, with the respondent count alongside it.

Not enough respondents yet to publish distributions

We only publish percentages once there are at least thirty independent, completed scans inside the measurement window. Until then this page shows the counter only. That is deliberate: a distribution over a handful of answers says nothing while implying something.

Answers from before the measurement window, incomplete scans and repeat scans from the same device do not count.

    How we measure

What is and is not in the figures

The scan is ungated and anonymous. We store six answers, a score and a timestamp, plus a technical fingerprint to spot repeat entries from the same device. No name, no company, no IP address in the measurement. Anyone requesting the report by email provides that separately, apart from these figures.
