What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember things between page loads, like whether you're signed in or what theme you picked.
How Datahub uses them
We keep cookie use deliberately small. We use cookies and similar local storage for three purposes only:
- Strictly necessary, keep you signed in, remember your theme, and keep the site working. These cannot be switched off.
- Security, hCaptcha cookies on the contact form help us tell humans from bots.
- Analytics, anonymous, aggregated usage data so we can see which pages help and which don't. No advertising profiles.
What we don't do
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No selling or sharing of your data with ad networks.
- No cross-site tracking.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site (e.g. you will be signed out). Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal, which we respect for analytics.
Third parties
The contact form uses hCaptcha for bot protection. hCaptcha sets its own cookies governed by its own privacy policy.
